~OkinawA~

i went to okinawa with my family ヽ(*｡￫v￩｡)ノ
my second sister is there. since she moved to okinawa it was first time for me to visit her. i mean, it's been 15yrs since i last visited there...

the first day after i got there (mom and eldest sis & nephew were already there) we rented a car and drove to very north of the okinawa island. YAMBARU is where mountains are, we rented a small cottage there and stayed one night. on the way there we stopped by at a supermarket and got some veges, meat, beer and snacks for dinner. cooked hotpot and ate it together! our nephew got grumpy coz he was tired and especially when my sis tried to change the diaper... he hates it. he couldnt stop crying but we were like "stop crying, grumpy boy! we change diapers for YOU!!" and ignored him for a while. this is the pic. he cried to curtain since he couldnt cry to anyone (≧∀≦) it was so funny.


next morning we went for canoeing in mangrove forests. only in the morning the water is filled in the place so that we could go in but when water is down no one can go in coz it's protected as natural monument.

after that we went for a walk in famous street where surrounded by some special trees (cant remember the name (-_-)). found a beautiful beach near there!! then i got too excited and ran down the concrete slope (it was for dragging a boat down)...
then... tripped by the rope said "slippery! dangerous!" and flew for a second then bang! .. injured my knee and elbow (as always) and my hand. bleeding so badly...
so hurt... ｡･ﾟ･(ﾉД`)･ﾟ･｡
there was no pharmacy around there so we had to drive a little. my second sis nursed for me(ﾉ´∀｀*)☆
then we went to Sesoko island which is connected to the main island by a bridge. easiest island to go coz no need to take ferry.


there was my sis's coworker's wife's cafe there and we had a cup of coffee then left.

it had been a very short and somewhat tiring trip but very very exciting and fun and interesting family trip (*´v｀)LovE(´v｀*)

i had a haircut!
i had grown it for 4-5 years and it reached my belly button ;O
it was the first time for me to have that long hair.
but my hair had been so damaged, spread ends, no color, etc. and grose.
guys always like long straight hair and my exs insisted on me not to have a haircut (hairdye and trimming were not included) for long long time...
now im free! thanks to my bf (but it's normal for others... i know.)!!

my opinion was... looks a little bit like IKKO (in bad way) and Kyoka Suzuki (in good way)...

my bicycle hurt me

mine's white.

i've been commuting by bicycle since april.
it got grumpy and made me fall the other day.
i hit my elbow and butt against the concrete ground so hard and i couldn't move for a while.
very sweet couple came to me and lifted me up and dragged my bicycle for me.
they asked if i was ok, which direction was i going, if i was drunk... etc.
i couldn't talk because of the shock and talked to them with body languages... lol
they walked me for like 100m and said good bye.
i was in shibuya. very big city. there are not so many nice ppl around here.
i was moved.

my elbow got two scratches, below that there is a huge bruise. they hurt me so bad.

next morning i overslept in the morning. i usually take train when it is raining.
when i found out the rain that day it was too late. i didnt have time to catch train.
bicycle was the only way.
wet tile floor sucks. especially marble ones.
they look gorgeous and luxurious and shiny but slippery when it gets wet.
i fell again.

some nice indian-like guys helped me getting up.
i hit the same elbow again.
and my knee.
some another bruises.
my bicycle started betraying me.
we have had our relationship for more than 2yrs.
finally it got mad at me, maybe because im not taking good care of it.
i guess it's a front wheel.
ok. another 7,000 yen.

new shop

the chairs at the bottom picture are 20yrs old. they are limited pieces. the center metal chair is now 10,000,000yen in some auction and that is our stupid manager's posession. not for sale. we have many rare pieces but they are all not for sale... it's sucks. basement floor and ground floor are somewhat filled with those limited pieces but middle, 2nd and 2nd middle floors are all usual pieces from the shop where i used to work. some ppl say, "what is limited stands for since this shop doesnt have limited for sale at all".
i really agree to them. i dont know what our CEO wants to do. he just wanna show off that he has those expensive pieces? ... sigh*
i cant believe that this shop is going on till next March... should i just leave as soon as i get a new job? it had been very busy but after awhile im sure it gets slower and slower and boring everyday... X(

the new shop

it's soooo hot here in tokyo. evryday in day time is over 33C and even at night temp is like 28C. too hot to sleep. we live on the first floor and cocks are everywhere outside so that we cant leave our windows open. always sleep in warm mud.

anyways,i should talk about my recent condition. we used to have armani furniture shop which was located in two buildings away from whre i work right now. it didnt sell well and armani is opening "armani building" in ginza. because of that our company closed the shop in Jun. now our manager wants to start a new shop named "hhstyle.com/Limited". what we are gonna display there is those limited furniture. our stupid manager is going to bring her chair which was limited to only 20 in the whole world introduced 20yrs ago and now priced as 11,000,000yen. crazy. of course she doesnt wanna sell it. just show it off.
two employees had to be placed for the new shop and i and another girl coworker were picked. im gonna be an assistant manager there. just the name sounds great but no raise, more work, less offs. that is it. and the shop is opening only for 6months. it's a challenge of our company so that is a short project.

because of the preparation of the opening of the new shop im so so tired everyday. so many things to get done. so many things to change and arrange. so much stress...
im thinking to quit this company after 6months. i dont see any meaning of staying here longer...


k, changing the subject.
my bf's mom is visiting tokyo right now. i had only one day off this week and have to work another seven days straight. very tired thinking about it already!
anyways.... my bf's mom hasnt been to tokyo for long time and hasnt been many famous places like "roppongi hills", "omotesando hills", "odaiba"....
i had a day off yesterday, so as isao.
met up with isao's mom at 9am, went for breakfast, and
walked to harajuku to show her isao's shop (BURTON). and we took her to "omotesando hills" first, then "asakusa" which is like 40mins away from where i live by train. we looked around the very famous temple. from there to "odaiba" we took a boat. took us more than an hour on the typical dirty river in tokyo area. felt nice sometimes (if you dont look down on water...).
odaiba is one of the most popular place for visitors. just so so soooo many ppl. crowded like inside of train. we lined for going up the tower (to see the view) for 30mins waited for the elevater!! tiring. but that was what his mom wanted so it was ok for me. isao was complaining tho. he is impatient!

then we headed for Tsukishima for monja-yaki(cant explain in english. very tasty food originated in tokyo).
i was dead tired already. walked around all day long in very humid and hot air... but her "enjoying tokyo" wasnt over. she came to our place. stayed for like 2h and finally left at 10pm.

in this morning, met up with her at 9am to have a breakfast together. i usually wake up at 9am.... see how tired i am? i had to be at work an hour earlier than usual because i had to attend the meeting with our bosses. i was soo tired that kept my eyes moving all the time. otherwise i was fall asleep...zzZ
i have to be at work earlier tom morning too.... when can i get enough sleep (T□T)!?!?!?!! help me...

mahalo~!!

we went to oahu the other day as our summer vacation. it was first time for me to be there. i had some bad impression about hawaii, coz so many JP ppl go there through a year. i thought "it's gonna be just like Japan"... but i was wrong! it was like a paradise. of course we saw many many JP ppl but it wasn't all about that.
the nature is amazing. so many funny-shaped trees i liked, and there were lots of flowers blooming. pigeons in JP are grey and not beautiful but in hawaii they were white. just looked down on them flying around from the hotel balcony was so relaxing.


i love seat turtles. my bf and a friend went on for surfing and they saw the wild turtle!! i was scared of waves and couldnt try surfing... but we went to "sea-life park" which is east side of oahu and got to take a pic with baby turtle ;) it was sooo exciting!!


we went on trucking on a mountain looked for waterfall. that was jungle. very wild. and the waterfall was very small... coz of so much less raining than ever... but on the way we found some nice views.

we remembered how much we missed the american food...
at the cheesecake factory. we went there twice!! haha ;D









anyways, it was a gorgeous trip :)

rainy season and hydrangea

rainy season in japan is called "Tsuyu". sounds yummy?
we got in Tsuyu a few days ago. that day was raining a little. but then after the day, three days in a row, it's greatly sunny every day! it's funny. where is the clouds??
i hate raining but i like hydrangea flowers. there are many many many many hydrangea flowers around my house. some are tall, like 5m.




i and issa went to drink at the small bar near our place and went for fireworks (again)!!! it was so much fun, but my finger got burnt... "nezumi-hanabi" (mouse fireworks) exploded in my left hand when i tried to light it. luckly, it wasnt too bad ;)

yesterday, on the way home, issa suddenly changed the route. he said "it's a short cut!!" then he went really fast. he knows that i cant run very fast with my bicycle. he is mean. very mean sometimes. i was left alone. it was first time for me to go on the street, but im good at directions so i figured where i was and how to get home.
but then i got perversited and tried to find the closest short cut to home from where i was.
actually, issa was waiting for me at the large intersection but i used another way.
i wanted to make him worried. so i intentionally passed our place and went on to adventure. then i got seriously lost for 20mins. my total adventure alone was like 1h.
when i finally went home he wasnt there. i called him (i forgot my cell at home so that he couldnt call me when i was in adventure) and told him i was lost. he was in 5km away from our place. looking for me. he was so worried. hehe :P it's his fault leaving me in somewhere im not familiar with >( he should stop being mean! :P

i and isao went bowling with his coworkers last night. we played two games and it was so much fun ;) we got along very well.
we decided to go drinking afterwards... then karaoke... and went home in the early morning even though we all had work today!!!
it's been so long since i stayed out late like that.
isao's coworkers are all cool. we talked about work a lot but i could actually understand what they talked about since we are both working at a shop even though different shop with diff ppl.

i miss partying at my tiny studio when i was in bellevue.
i miss drinking at bada and go clubbing and dancing like a crazy around jen.
i miss hunging out with big D, go clubbing, get hungover all the time and ditching work when she was still in tokyo.
guess my local friends and friends in all over the world are missing me, too, tho.

enjoying life is sometimes not easy for me. there are too many aspects to think before i actually "do" something as i get older.

but it's great that i've got more active and do many things i never done before since i met isao. he is my saver.
i never thought i could enjoy my life like this.
i get new happiness while loosing excitements in past. it's funny.

next tuesday im going to Hakone Onsen w my family.
it's been long time since four of us go for a trip. im very excited :D

i felt sick at the very beginning. left the seat and went to bathroom to #*&$% then spent the half of the movie at the back corner of the theater (on the floor). sigh*

Hakkeijima Sea Paradise

Sea-para is a very famous aquarium in kanto area.
it was first time for both of us to go there.
we woke up very late, like 1pm and decided to go Hakkeijima where is 1.5h away from where we live at 2:30pm and got there at about 4:30pm... almost closed (closing time was 6pm lol).

we had so much fun there. the most favorite was white dolphine.
she was in a huge circular cylinder shaped water tank all by herself.
swiming in one direction and going around and around.
looked very bored...
i took her pics w other camera.

GW sucks >(

GW=Golden Week... the longest holidays in JP culture. my bday is one of it.
it sucks. so many ppl but not good sales. because most of them are just visiting, they dont buy huge pieces of furniture.
plus, dpt other than shops are closed so deliverying arrangement is very hard. we cant check stocks at stock management dpt either. when claim happens we have nothing to do except for being pissed...

anyways, today's a weekday. normal day. our sales are mainly through bank (transfering? dont know how to say it in eng) (and it works only weekdays, not holidays), and today we got sales for more than 2million yen at 2F alone :D it worths sales-goal for more than 8days for our floor... yey~!!

i want GW, too... im tired :(

anyways, i had a great bday eve and bday!
we both took a day off on 28th and went to daikanyama for isao's haircut appointment.
daikanyama is only 10mins away by bicycle! cool!
then went for some shopping at 109 in shibu.
went home, played a game (RYUGA GOTOKU 2) for awhile and headed to tama-plaza where my sis lives.
mom, sis, sis's baby, her husband, isao and me had YAKINIKU there.
great dinner~~ X)
went to ikuta and met up w some ikuta crew (hayato, yuki, hiro... etc.), had drinks and went home.

unfortunatelly, Kattsun, Tag, Yusuke joined us after i and isao left...

on the way home at a convenience store we found fireworks!! already!?!? it's still spring here tho... and we got so excited and bought some and played with them.
so much fun :)

yesterday (29th) isao told me he'd be home late coz he wanted to go to a gym.
he had a meeting at work and after that he called me and took me out to YAKINIKU again!! w one of his coworkers!

almost!!

it's been a month since i moved in w isao and it's almost done!! done what? done storing and cleaning and buying anything i need to live!!
we've got a new cabinet in kitchen and it was delivered the day before. FINALLY i could store plates and cutlery, pans and pots in there!!
isao likes "sticker tune"-ing everything w BURTON, NIXON, ANALOG, gravis, VZ, etc.'s stickers. refreg, cabinet, toilet brush case... even my cell phone :) but boring looking things turn to be very cool funky one-of-a-kind thing.

we are joining isao's friend's wedding during the GW. for that i had to go get some stuff to my mom's. it's been only a month (less than a month) since i moved out but it felt like it's been forever ;D i smelled green and earth once i stepped out from ikuta sta.

i had a nice dinner w mom and left.
isao took me to some live concert of a brother of Ringo Shena. Ringo is one of my most favorite J-POP singers. i was so excited to hear Ringo's brother's singing. we got there before 10pm and waited waited, and waited... till 1am. other than drinking and talking we had nothing to do. isao was also invited to there by his Sempai. some came and they were cooool 30s guys. looks very young. i like BURTON ppl. they are all cool.
oh! some graphic designer was drawing at the place. pretty cool.

anyways, i got kinda drunk while waiting for the concert starts.
then here comes the brother of Ringo.... "looks like "Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi"... kinda yakuza looking guy... ok, what kinda songs he's gonna sing!? waku-waku :D.... mmh?! Stevie Wonder!? eeeeh!! looks and songs (his voice as well) were so different. nothing i expected. then i got bored..


it was fun meeting isao's sempai. and it's cool to be night clubs sometimes.
